Depression

What does depression look like? Maybe you can’t get out of bed. Maybe you can’t find the motivation to get things done. Maybe you don’t have the desire to do the things you used to love to do. Maybe you cry at the drop of a hat. Maybe you are grieving still, and it’s been a year or more since your loved one passed. Maybe you’ve had thoughts of suicide and you wish you could just end this feeling.depression

The medical approach to this mental state is an anti-depressant. It may be that your anti-depressant helped in the beginning, but unfortunately over time, anti-depressants can actually cause a depletion in serotonin. This brings about more feelings of depression and suicidal thoughts. You may also begin to experience other symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, weight gain, and sexual dysfunction. An anti-depressant is really only a band aid for a short period of time.

Let’s look at an alternative approach. A natural approach to healing the body and feeding it the nutrients it needs to function normally is the key to healing the underlying causes of your depression. We work from both a dietary standpoint and a supplemental one. Each body is different. Your body has specific needs. The cause of your depression may be different than your friend or twin sister who has depression. This is not a one-size-fits-allor cookie cutter approach program. It is tailored to fit your body precisely. Together we will find the reason for your depression and help your body to start healing.

I understand. I have been use to be very anxious, worrisome, and sometimes depressed. I am living proof that this program works. I want to help you get your life back, too. Call to set up your first appointment, and together we will get to the root cause of why you are struggling with depression. Our front desk staff is ready to take your call. (641) 357-4499.

Note: If someone you love is suffering from depression, do not just forward this email to them. Chances are good they aren’t checking their email. Print this and physically hand it to them, or better yet, read it to them. Offer to drive them to our office for their first few appointments.

Warm Regards,
