One of the things that Nutrition Response Testing is very good at helping is hormone balance. Hormones are constantly shifting. This shift can make you feel sensitive, and being a sensitive person myself, I understand the changes a body can go through during healing. Using Nutrition Response Testing to assess your body and my knowledge of supplements I can do a very good job with your specific nutritional needs.
The definition of supplement is: something that completes or enhances something else when added to it. Nutritional supplements are exactly as the name suggests, an enhancement to a good diet. For this reason most supplements are needed for a short time (three to six months) while the body is repairing. Finding the correct supplement to help your body is my specialty.
Hormones regulate functions and help the body to adapt. But, when hormones and hormonal organs (thyroid, adrenals, pituitary, pineal, pancreas, ovaries/testicles, hypothalamus) aren't working well many problems can occur. Some symptoms include: anxiety, depression, fatigue, poor sleep, blood sugar imbalance, hair loss, skin problems, bowel trouble, weight gain or loss, headaches, low libido, PMS, and heart palpitations.
Supplements can be used to help balance hormonal organs, repair tissue, and restore function. When this is done the symptoms do not occur. With your sensitive body it is important to give it what is needed, when it is needed, at the correct amount.
With thoughtful, subtle changes, your health can improve. I look forward to helping you in any way I can.
Yours in health,
Dr. Kathleen Voortmann
